• Tropical Depression 23W (Ramon) has maintained its strength while approaching Northeastern Mindanao later this night.
• It is expected to intensify  slightly while moving this area as a minimal Tropical Storm early Wednesday morning. Below are the forecast track area as of 6 a.m PhST 10/11/2011.
•  Rain bands are currently affecting the whole Visayas, Mindanao and some parts of Bicol region and Masbate. Estimated rainfall amount is from 5-25 mm/hr.
• Residents in low lying and mountainous  areas under Public  Storm Warning Signal are alerted against possible flash floods and landslides.
• More places in Visayas and parts in Northern Mindanao will be raised within the next 06-12 hours (maybe on the next warning bulletin to be issued by PAGASA around 11 A.M.) as Tropical Depression 23W is expected to intensify as a Tropical Storm this afternoon.
