TS Guchol moving westward slowly, expected to consolidates more strength

  •  latest satellite imagery shows a strong mid-level circulation center which is obscuring the low level circulation center
  • gradual intensification is expected within the next 48-72 hours as it tracks over the warm water heading the North Philippine Sea 
  • expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon starting this Wednesday that will bring rains over the western sections of the country which may trigger flash floods and landslides
